Improved leadership and internal communication through info screens
Framery Oy is known for its soundproof workspaces, manufactured in Tampere and used worldwide. The company has grown rapidly, and with over 300 employees, a smooth communication in production plays a key role. When the need to improve daily management and information flow grew, Framery chose iDiD’s information displays as a solution.
Visible information, better communication
In 2018 Framery identified a challenge: although plenty of data was available from production, its effective use in daily work was insufficient.
— We chose iDiD because we wanted to make better use of our existing digital tools in production and the daily management of production. At the same time, we improved our internal communication, Framery’s NPI manager Juha Honkamäki says.
The content shown on the info displays is managed by production supervisors, specialists and the change management team. Ready-made integrations from various backend systems are also in use.
— We have a wide user base for iDiD. iDiD users publish announcements and shift schedules. We also display reports from the production control system and Power BI, enabling real-time visibility of the production status.
Since about half of Framery’s employees work in production and don’t have constant access to the intranet, the info displays ensure that information reaches everyone.

— In our morning meetings, we can illustrate many things visually, such as shift schedules and workstation details. For these contents, we also use images and video to support verbal communication, Tuomas explains using these practical examples.
